This is definitely one of the most famous dishes in Vietnam. I ate Phở in Thunder Bay a lot. But in Vietnam, there’s something very different about it. It could be the taste of home or the different types of meat. Anyway, I like pho the most.
Bún Bò is a Vietnamese noodle soup originating from Huế, a city in Central Vietnam. It features thick rice vermicelli, tender beef, pork, and fresh herbs. The broth is rich and savory, with lemongrass and chili adding a distinctive spicy and aromatic flavor.
Bánh Dày is a traditional Vietnamese rice cake made from glutinous rice. I used to don't like Bánh Dày. But I changed my mind now. I ate Bánh Dày in my first day back to Việt Nam, and it just filled my hungry stomach with the soft, chewy texture, and pipping hot, delicious patties. I will never forget the taste of Bánh Dày in that day.
Cơm sườn is a very popular Vietnamese rice dish, especailly in Ho Chi Minh City. It served with grilled pork ribs or pork chops. It is usually accompanied by pickled vegetables, cucumber, and fish sauce. Vietnamese people eat rice everyday, but with me, it's verry hard to make a perfect rice for Cơm tấm. I love the fish sauce so much, and also the grilled beef./p>
no one in my family like xôi xéo, but I love it. I likes the sticky rice and the fried shallons. It used to be my daily morning meal before I go to school, especailly whenever I wake up lately.
This type of food is a little bit oil, but it very crispy too. Whenever I eat this, I will cover it with lot of vegetables and dip into fish sauce. I wish they sell Bánh Khọt here...
